I just paid one bill with hubby's pacheck from yesterday. All the rest of the bills for the month are already paid. WOO!! We are going to Walgreens, CVS, HEB and WalMart today.
At Walgreens, I am getting a $6.00 bottle of conditioner for $1.00. Yah! At CVS, I'm getting a gallon of milk for $2.00 after ECB and a tube of toothpaste that after my coupon and ECB I am actually getting paid $.75 to take. At HEB we're doing regular grocery shopping without many coupons because we're buying a lot more fresh produce than we have in the past. There's a sale on oranges that I'm happy about, though.
After all of that, we are going to WalMart to begin project update wardrobe. We've hardly bought any new clothes through the entire duration of our marriage, so we are gradually going to replace the old and the ugly for some newer stuff. Yeah, WalMart clothing isn't that great, but at least we'll be able to get more new pieces than if we went to the mall or something. Today we are each spending $50.00 for clothing. I'm thinking about getting a new pair of shoes because the ones I have are pretty dinged up. And a new shirt or two. Or maybe I'll just get shirts. Either way, I'm pretty excited because, like I said, we've hardly ever bought new clothes at all.
Oh and we've got pork ribs thawing in the fridge that we bought on sale not long ago that I think hubby is gonna fix this weekend. I'm really excited about that!!
