so there's this woman that worked for a company that has had an account with us long before i ever was even in town, and she would come in every year at the start of the summer to get their summer stuff started. someone else brought the stuff in this time, which i thought was unusual, but i figured maybe she transferred or was laid off or something. money's been tight everywhere guys. so anyway, yesterday on the early news i found out that there was a woman killed in an accident in the middle of the day. i didn't think a whole lot about it until the late news when they announced her name. it was that woman that i knew from work. (incidentally, i found out through this newscast that she had retired from her job). granted, i didn't know her well, and i only even spoke with her a couple times a year, but it was really startling. i remember she was very easy to work with and she seemed to be a very interesting person. i can't even begin to say much about this since i didn't know her well and there are lots of grieving friends and family right now, but it just makes me sad.
