Hubby had to go into the office for a bit, but when he gets back, we are going to find a cheap lunch, then we are going to the laundromat to do some laundry (I can't wait to have my own again!). After laundry, we are going grocery shopping. Shopping is more fun than it used to be. Since I've realized you can find chicken for $1/lb or less, and since I've gotten more serious about coupons and looking for deals, it's a lot less depressing and a whole lot more interesting. One time, everything on my shopping list had a coupon to match except the six cans of tuna. And it was sooo much fun watching the screen as she scanned the coupons. I saved 30% that day with my coupons. That's pretty unusual for me, but I hope I can get to where I do that more regularly. But even watching $5 or $10 come off, which is more regular, is great fun.
Plus I found that we can get a prepackaged bag of tilapia or mahi mahi for less than $5.00 each, at least this week. I know I like tilapia, but I've never tried mahi mahi. I'll probably get one of both.
And next week we'll be getting our TV! I'm pretty stinkin' excited. And even more excited knowing that we are paying for it outright so we won't have to be paying for it months later. WOO!
