weight loss etiquette

05/26/2010

I have this goal to help my husband start losing some weight so that we can him off his diabetes medication (type 2). Watching Biggest Loser just fuels that LOL. Yay for the winner!! (No spoilers here!)

But husband is going to be in a wedding in August, and what he's wearing is actually going to be custom made. Or at least parts of it will be custom made. And they're asking for measurements this week. So . . . I don't really want to put his weight loss on hold, but if we give them his measurements and he starts losing weight . . . then the clothes won't fit!

It's really frustrating because he's going to start seeing a new doctor soon, and I thought that it would be a great time to start making this change.

How easy is it to tailor clothes down? (that's my optimism speaking).

BTW, if you've not signed up for and starting using Swagbucks, you should. I am expecting my spice rack by UPS tomorrow that I only paid $4.00 (shipping) thanks to Swagbucks. Click on the banner below and get started! Totally worth it!

I don't think it's that hard to tailor clothes. I was in a wedding once and my dress was too big, so a week or so before the wedding I found someone to tighten it up for me, and she did a great job within 3 days.
