Another shoe dropped in the case of Mom's Money Morass. The trust emailed me to say that the social security number they have been using to issue her trust benefits does not match the one I sent to them on the power of attorney documents. Of course it doesn't. Dammit! That's how she's gone all these years without Medi-Cal knowing about her trust funds.
I have to email the attorney who is trying to deal with Medi-Cal on her behalf.
I don't want to be her power of attorney anymore.
I know you all don't know the story of my mom and her amazing money mess. When my anxiety level goes down, I'll tell it.
