you can knock my lights out, but I'll still shine
So, I came into work today and Katie was telling me how she has to go to a court hearing tomorrow about Jason, [her baby daddy] for a custody battle thing. She has to testify, and she is so scared. Jason is literally psycho, and before Cassidy was even conceived they were at a bar and Katie went outside to have a cigarette, and Jason saw her [btw, he was drunk] and he went out and FREAKED out on her. Slapped the cigarette out of her hand, got into her face and was like "WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING, BITCH." and would NOT leave Katie alone, and the bar keeper came out and kicked HIM out of the bar, not Katie. SO he got into the car, fucking drunk and drove, and 10 minutes later he came back into the bar and told Katie that he crashed the car and was this huggee episode.
Long story short, she has to testify about that night tomorrow and she didn't wanna go alone because she's scared of seeing Jason, so I told her I'd go with her.
I went and talked to Jill about it, and asked her if it would be okay if I went with her. and she said she didn't see a problem since we have Jess J, Machaion and Laura here all day tomorrow,
but this is only if Katie gets a phone call tomorrow, between the times of 9:30 am - 3. and if she gets a call she has an hour to get up there, so I have to go home, get some nice clothes and go back to Katie's tonight. She's my best friend here and I'll do anything I can to support her.
I have to testify on her court date on July 9th, so my Independence Day plans at the shore I guess are canceled unless I go home earlier. I don't care, I want Katie to have custody Cassidy.
Jason, has no job, no license.
The people in his house, have no jobs, and no way of support of Cassidy.
The only reason why he was granted temporary primary custody of Cassidy was because he filed for it AN HOUR before Katie did...
That child should NOT be in the care of Jason.
Katie goes to school full time at Kutztown University, Works 33 hours a week here at Country Junction, has a license, a cell phone bill, a 2009 Kia Sportage.
In other words, she has RESPONSIBLITIES.
Cassidy will be in her care as soon as July 9th comes around.
So, onto other good news.
Jess V is not here at work today!

So many things to look forward to, that I can't stop thinking about.
August, going to Maine with Katie and her family, her mom and dad invited me themselves :]
November, going on my first road trip, to go get Jinx down in Georgia and he's moving in with me.
Jes's wedding, too. Her and I have been talking about that a lot lately. AH.
So much to look forward to.
And I'm in such a good mood.
Hopefully my Coach shoes came in, I'm so eager to wear them.
