im sorry for all your going through right now. oh how i have been there! and really, it is better to let the ex gather himself up and pull his head out of his ass before he tries to parent .....my kids went 6 months without seeing their dad after we divorced because of that.
just always be there fr your son, and never speak ill of his father, no matter what. hard as it will be at times...its the best thing for your son!

Look to see if there is a Volunteer Lawyer program in your area. Also- contact your state Attorney General. Divorce does NOT have to be final for you to be getting support and they will do all of that for free honey. Let me know if you need some help.

I agree it could be better that he's not around. But then again, I'm finding some men don't know or want to be dads to young boys. My ex recently said he wants more time with Maverick because "he's starting to get fun." I'm sorry, I guess diapers and waking in the night don't require a father. But then again, I was the one who was there for his first steps, he said "mama" first, and he made ME a father's day gift. He sees his dad frequently, but I wish he didn't. It would give Aaron a chance to have a better bond. Henry deserves to have a man around who CHOOSES to do so!

And Kristin is right, I got support long before the divorce was final!

Yeah, pants are long on her, but we have to get a bigger size or they won't go over her thighs or butt. And the shirts have to be 2-3T or we can't get her arms through. But she's on the shorter side.

RYC: I'm going to give about 2-3 more weeks. My period is so whacked up. I don't even get that concerned about it anymore, the only reason I told him is because I threw up yesterday morning. But that could have been from something I'd ate.
