I don’t know if I am going to be able to get use to this East Coast Fall weather. It was a chilly 45 when I got up at 6:30 to take the dog out. Fall in Birmingham means it is 80 instead of 100. Ha ha it has also been way too cloudy lately. Cold rain is the worst thing I have experienced in quite awhile.
I was really productive today. I am really enjoying the routine Ryan and I have (though it will end post-wedding when I start working again…) But, I got up and made him breakfast like every morning- we ate together, had some coffee, I walked the dog, went for a run, worked on the place cards, ordered some honeymoon clothes, updated the almost finalized attendee list, met Ryan for lunch downtown, did 2 loads of laundry, and made spaghetti. Now I am watching last nights Glee and eating sorbet
On the list tomorrow: calling people who didn't RSVP yes or no. That is a rant on its own. I am kind of annoyed. If you can't come, that is fine you aren't hurting my feelings I understand things come up and travel can be expensive. But let us know. That is common courtesy. So, tomorrow I am calling all 40 people on the "non-RSVPed" list and leaving voice mails. I am meeting with our caterer this weekend and need to bring a list of final numbers. Watch out! Bride on a mission!!!
Ryan and I also need to come up with the "Do Not Play" List for the DJ. (ie: the chicken dance, who let the dogs out (i was at a wedding not to long ago that was played), the limbo, conga, etc.)
And, we need to get them our first dance song: Everything- Michael Buble (maybe cheesy, but it is a good tempo and it was Ryan's idea, he was proud and I like it.)
My Dance with my daddy: My Little Girl, Tim McGraw
Ry's dance with his mom: My Wish- Rascal Flatts
Random thought: I was in the car earlier today and heard Carrie Underwood's new song "Mama's Song" about how she has found a man that is good for her, etc (i'm sure you all know the song.) Anyways, I think I want to do something for my mom, with that song..but I can't think of what to do. Thoughts?
16 daaaaaaaaays eeee!! I am so excited, it is becoming so real!!!
PS: I love Glee!!
