Ryan and I made it safely to DC! That was a long drive. A long...boring...drive. Virginia is a big state. Wow. But, it was kind of fun. I enjoyed being with Ryan, non-stop for 13 hours. He did all the driving too, what a good guy Love him. He is the bestest.
We've been spending the past few days moving into the newest, new place. It is nice. Ryan did good. The kitchen is upgaded and amazing and we have a jacuzzi tub in our bathroom!!! I liked the other one better, it was a little bigger, but I don't want to deal with the creepy guy- especially because for now I am going to be home during the day. The last thing I need is a creeper creeping on me I was worried we were going to have too much stuff, and not enough room but It is working out okay. Since Ryan and I have separate places before we moved we have 2 of everything. The bedroom stuff works out nicely for the guest room. We are turning the 3rd room into an office for now, and are putting Ryan's oversized chair in there for now, we are keeping my couch and chair for the living room. I think we are going to sell the other couch and love seat that we have. We don't have anywhere to put it. Craigslist it goes! I also think we are going to sell my car. There is no reason we need to have and pay for 2 cars right now. Ryan is using the metro to get to work which leaves me with the car during the day. If we want to go to the city we will use the metro. So, we decided there will be very few times that both of us need a car for different things. Ryan's is the more practical of the 2, we are we going to keep it.
We are going to Ikea today! To buy a couple of bookshelves and a desk. I've never been to an Ikea, but have heard a lot about it. I am excited!!!! Happy Memorial Day weekend to all! Pictures of the new place to come (once it isn't a mess, but we are unpacking quickly...it is looking nice.)
I am soooooo happy to be in DC with Ryan |
