Back in Bama- Honeymoon planning :) (edit + Photo)

01/01/2010

Well, I am back in Bama after a great weekend in DC with Ryan. I am really excited to move there for good. Our place is super cute (and will be cuter once I live there and get to decorate it- right now it is a mess of random stuff.) We had a great weekend. Friday evening once I got in we ate at the Cheesecake Factory (yummmmmmm and WALKING distance from our place...I could not fit in my wedding dress due to large amounts of cheesecake I am going to consume.) Afterwards we just went back and unpacked stuff. It is amazing what Ryan and his dad DIDN'T get done since getting to DC :) lol Saturday we went and got breakfast at a local place near our house call Whitlows, it was really good. I had frenchtoast...apparently it is also a bar (who knew?) but it looks like a fun place to hang out. Then we went into the city and walked around down by the Capital and the monuments and went and saw the Whitehouse. But then it started raining so we called it a day. We went grocery shopping- made sure Ryan had everything he needed for work tomorrow. And ordered pizza. We wanted to grill out on our little back patio area but again, rain. YUCK! Today we got up and ran a bunch of errands (you know the errands you always run when you first move..cleaning supplies, storage, etc.) We didn't actually get too much though. I think for now the house is just going to be a mess of stuff until I come at the end of next month. Then everything will be there and we can organize and get stuff really put away. (Plus, I won't be working and won't ave anything to do. I need a project) :) Then we had some left over pizza for lunch and Ryan took me to the airport. sad. EXCITING NEWS! We planned (well started to plan) our HONEYMOON last night! YES!!! I am so so so excited! We are going to do Punta Mita, Mexico! :) It is going to be amaaaaaaazing! Can it just be October already? xoxo I FORGOT to add a picture of our place, it is super cute. I love the porch (I think I want to get two wicker chairs and a little table for out there), it gets ton of natural light, and the little back patio is great. The people before us left a table and some chairs but they are kind of crappy (as you will see in the photo) our landlord said we could toss them so we might buy somethign nicer...and of course, Ry's grill is out there :) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
