Whew! It was a busy weekend, but a really good one.
On Friday Ryan and I went out for italian food. I had the best pasta. It was tons of seafood (shrimp, scallops, calamari, crab, and some type of fish) with noodles and a creamish sauce. So good. We also got bruschetta- which I love. He spoils me  We also ran some errands. I got a really cute pair of heels at Target (which I wore last night) They are slingbacks, black, peeptoe, with a little ruffle design on the top by the toes.
Saturday morning i went and tried on wedding dresses!!! with some girlfriends. It was fun. I tried on some gorgeous dresses (and some not so gorgeous ones.) I think I like the mermaid style (although not extreme mermaid, just a slight bit mermaid.) and I know I was strapless. It was good to get an idea of what was out there. I am going to go with my mom in a couple of weeks when I am in Charleston. I didn't expect to find THE DRESS this weekend. But, it was great to look and get an idea of what I might like so the next appointment is more productive.
Last night a couple of our friends through us an engagement party. It was quite the shit show haha. There were 20 of us that went to dinner and then out to some bars in the area. A very drunken night that I am feeling now. I think I climbed in a fire truck? Vauge memory. TMI alert Ryan and I did have really good sex when we got home. Which is hit and miss when we are both really drunk...but I do remember that . End TMI
Luckily, we both recovered well and had some engagement photos taken this afternoon. The photographer said we should have proofs in a week or two so I will post those when I get them. Then it is on the Save the Dates! I think I want to do something cute with the photos- kind of similar to a Christmas Card. SO, I am excited to put those together.
Busy weekend- but a good one. I am on Spring Break this week- which is awesome! A whole week off and just in time since I officially have to move everything into Ryan's this weekend! I have a lot of packing to do!!!
Time to make some dinner- scallops in pasta! Yumm
