I need a hobby, or a job. I am going to get bored very very very quickly while Ryan is at work. I am use to having the summer off, but it was fun because all of my friends did too. Now, it is just me. Out little community has a pool, so I need to hit that up soon. At least I will be super tan! I need to figure out what I need to do to teach in DC or VA, but currently I have no motivation. This whole "stay-home-all-day" thing would be a lot more fun if we had a baby. For now, it is me and the dog (who by the way has been a huge brat since we moved...I think he is just getting use to the new place.)
Everything is more expensive here. When I went grocery shopping for Ry and I before I'd spend $60 or $70 a week. It was well over $100 today. And, I guess, it was the first big shop since moving so there was a lot to get. But, I hope it isn't that much every week. I feel like I went from the cheapest place to live to the most expensive. Geez. I am crabby today.
I really want to take pictures to post on here, and to send to my mom...but, the house is a mess. I should have cleaned today. I was so lazy. Nothing more productive than grocery shopping.
We are having salmon for dinner Ryan is going to grill it and we are going to have corn on the cob, cous cous, and a big salad. I might make a pitcher of sweet tea too. Hopefully it cools down a little but by dinner and we can sit outside. It is so so so hot today. I grew up in South Carolina and went to school in Alabama...two hot, humid places but this feels so much worse.
