Reading Once Minutos written by Paulo Coelho.
Prostitute with big dreams and hopes. Hopes of becoming a famous actress and samba dancer—and makes close to 1,000 dollars a night.
Come to think of it…
That would be nice.
Maybe with the exception of the prostitute part.
I have big dreams and I’m still stuck in shithole limbo. Pass me my cocktail will you. I plan on gulping it all down and ponder on ways to reach my dreams and hopes without stepping on everyone else’s.
Is that possible?
Flavio’s analogy of the workforce here and the prostitution hits it right on the mark. Almost everyone works meandering and tedious hours, doing work that they do not fully enjoy, therefore wasting precious minutes and time of whatever is left of their lives.
It’s funny how making a living prevents us from living life. Yet we still need to have a living in order to live.
