Hello I am Sheena and I am A Student studying for my RN BSN degree. I am starting my first year of Clinicals so I Figured I would start a Blog On my times in Clinicals  I started it on Tumblr but no one is reading so I thought I would move here and Have Readers and make some friends Below are the Entries from Tumblr Enjoy
Pre Clinical life -- June 1st
Well I knew that school would be expensive. I knew Nursing would be even more expensive….but um WOW $$$$ is flying out the window. I started summer vacation in May but on June 1st my parents started to fork out the money. Ten dollars for my Child abuse record, Ten dollars for criminal record, 32.50 for finger printing. I still have to do my physical and Drug and Alcohol testing. Not only is the Money going to pay for records and testing but also my uniforms need to be bought and books and supplies. I am stuck doing thing one by one. So far I have gotten my nurseing Bag, shoes, and odds and ends. I also ordered some of my books. I also got some School supplies. I hope soon I will have everything and clinicals will start. Tell you the truth summer is taking for end.
Cpr....-- June 14
Lately I have been hitting the books. Even though it is summer the studying to be a nurse never stops. I have been studying the BLS for Healthcare Providers. I have my class on June 27 for 3 hours. I have been reading the book to make sure I have a full understanding of what I am going to be learning in the 3 hours of the class. in 13 days I will be certified in CPR. I still Need to Get My Uniforms and the rest of my books and Liability Insurance. Everything is getting closer 70 days until the Semester Starts
Certified.... -- June 27
Finally I am Certified and I feel like I could be out there and helping people. I feel like I could save a Life if I Needed to. I hope I will not have to but I Know I will have to. Sadly I was worried about the testing because my partner was Really Slow and she was not sure about What and when to things. I have no problem with that but it slowed me up and With Kneeling my Legs hurt and I was not feeling the Greatest. I am Good Now I am Certified now to get my insurance and uniforms
Stressed Removed For now -- July 13
Well Yesterday I had a great amount of stressed removed. I have Officially handed in all my Paperwork into the office and I Have My Uniforms. My uniforms came with a bit of a Surpise. When I was at the office Mary told me that I will receiving a letter. I was at first concerned and I am sure my face showed it because she told me not to worry that it was a good letter. I fixed Myself and wanted for her to continue. She smiled and told me that I was selected for one of the three scholarship from the company and they would be reimbursing me for my Uniforms. I am so happy that I am getting my uniforms for free. This will give my parents money back So A lot of stressed has been removed and I cannot wait for the Semester To Start
