Me and Rick started Pastoral training last night. While I am excited to dig deeper into the Word, I am overwhelmed at the same time. There is so much reading, writing, and training that goes with this training. If you know me, you know I am extremely A.D.D. in other words, what takes most people a week to read a book, it takes me twice as long. Please pray for me, I don't want to disappoint Rick. Once we finish the courses we will be certified, liscensed ministers. I don't plan on taking a church or anything like that..but I do know it will make it easier for us to go out and minister to those who want to hear it.
In other news, I am doing a little better, health wise. There are good days, and there are not so good days. Sometimes I feel like a million bucks and others I wish I was in bed all day. I have severe stomach aches and back aches sometimes, due to the side effects of my medicine. It also causes dry mouth and itchy skin. I will take it as long as my heart keeps pumping and my blood pressure stays down. The doctors no longer consider me a type 2 diabetic because I have lost so much weight, and my blood glucose levels are so much lower than they used to be! I went from 200 pounds down to 153. Go me.
