So our AC got fixed on tuesday. They replaced the entire unit. woohoo! no more living in a sauna!
Last night (wednesday night), Russ, Cameron, and I went to go play trivia at Ale House. Russ had a free dessert coupon to use for is bday. It had been so long since we played trivia. It used to be our usual wednesday night activity for a few years. Then I ended up becoming a dj wednesday nights at another bar to host bar bingo. And we just stopped going after a while. I really miss it.
So since I'm on a mini vacation. (ended up having 5 days off in a row after working nine days straight. lol) and since I just got the new job, I wanted to celebrate and let a little loose. My last hurah before I have to transform back into an adult so I can manage teenagers in a couple weeks. lol. So I had a few beers. I don't usually drink much anymore if at all. So Cameron and I kept going on about how we wanted to play beer pong. We tried to convince Russ, but he just didn't want to play. So we all just went home. Cameron lives in our apt building in 18 (we're 12). He was on facebook asking if beer pong can be played alone. I said if he sets up a table, I'm totally down to play. I really just needed a night of fun. Crazy intoxicated fun. Sometimes it's necessary. So I went over to Cameron's to play beer pong with him.
We had to go to Wal-Mart first, because we realized that we have no ping pong balls, and we needed beer. So it was just me and Cameron hanging out. It was awkward at first, because we never really hung out alone without Russ. I hung out with him and the twins before during another night of crazy intoxicated fun. But never just Cameron. It shouldn't be awkward, because I've been with Russ for over seven years and have known Cameron for just as long. So Cameron and I played some beer pong. And I lost. pretty bad. lol So we took a break from beer pong. at that point, i was really tipsy so I asked if he wanted to smoke. So I went to go get my stuff from my apt, and Cameron and I started smoking out together. hahaha. And then we got all sentimental about how he's really like my brother in law now. We even had a few laughs about Russ. The little quirks he has when he gets into debate mode. He's so good at it that even though you know you're right, he'll still make you question yourself. lol Then we played some more beer pong. At that point, I had way more than I could handle. Sad because I think i drank an equivalent of maybe 4 or 5 beers. Maybe 6. And then I remember why I don't drink anymore. lol. Because of how queasy I get, and that annoying spinny feeling that messes with your balance and make you feel sea sick. Nope. I hate it. ugh. I'm definitely old. I'm no longer that young girl in my early twenties that drank like a young girl in her early 20s. lol.
Even though I ended up going to bed in a not-so-pleasant manner, it was still fun just to go nuts and let loose. And I had awesome bonding time with Cameron. lol my brother in law.  Though I can't imagine how crazy i must've looked by the end of the night. Drunk mel is weird.
So yeh. lesson learned.
