Good morning Bloop world. I was going to update last night, but for some reason my brain felt like turning off. Russ had to work last night. he left a little before 11pm. Something about a midnight game release. Poor Russ. He's out in the living room now. He has to work today too. I doubt he had any sleep at all.
So it sucks when i complain how tired i am. I think I had a few hours sleep, but it's hard falling asleep without him in the house. I stayed up binge watching New Girl on Netflix. Even though I've seen all of them, i still love watching it.
Yesterday my high schoolers presented their little presentation on stars. I split them up in partners and gave each group a star to research. Originally, i was going to have them write, but they begged me to do a power point. So I said hey why not.
I just finished the rubric this morning. Now I have to grade them all this week. Along with their Essay on Respect they wrote for Social Skills.
So much to grade. So little time.
I'm so over working at the pharmacy. The powers that be want us to promote flu shots, do MTMs (call patients about not taking their meds. and fax doctors about changing to a less expensive med. Which is dumb, because it's not our place to ask doctors to prescribe something for someone.. ridiculous) we have to do so many per day/week/month/year. On top of that, we have to get all RXs out in a certain amount of time. On top of that, they only allot us a certain amount of hours in the day for techs and our one cashier to work. And when we don't have a cashier, which is most of the time, we're stuck at the register and can't fill and prescriptions or any of the other BS tasks they want us to do.
When I get to the pharmacy after school, i'm so tired. My only full day off during the week from both jobs is Saturday.
Speaking of Saturday..
on Saturday we went to go see Guardians of the Galaxy! I loved it! Russ and I met up with Lindsay for some Japanese buffet and a movie. I miss my Lindsay.
Anywho, guess I better go be a productive member of society.
A little grumpy this morning. No coffee yet.
Granted I've been a little grumpy lately anyway. lol
