well first, contrary to what it may seem, no I still do not have internet at home. However, my nifty new phone has an app. I can plug my lap-top into it and voila! Internet connection. Not the fastest connection by all means. I have metro, and only a 2G network, but I'm not complaining. I can actually lie in bed and surf my super slow reminds me of dial-up internet. hehehe
okay. so life update time.
Still working the Wal-Mart Pharmacy as a technician. Still despising it very much. But it's a job.
Nost customers are either bitchy, really sick, and/or really stupid. It's just a lot of negative energy. I come home really cranky and tired and very not-me at all. I just purposely cut my full-time in half so I can focus on pursuing a teaching career. I'm in my last class in the Teacher's Certification Program. I still have to take the state exams and such. Now I actually have time to study. In fact, today during my first only work 5-9 day, I discovered in my new-fangled phone internet to lap-top app, that my dream school was expanding their student numbers and hiring 12 new teachers. Instantaneously, I typed up a cover letter, and e-mailed it with my resume. So cross your fingers.
To those that are new in the life of mel, or those that forget because of my lack of posts, I am pursuing a career as a drama teacher. Yes. I'm attempting to beat the odds of budget cuts and program deletions. But this is my passion. I can't help it. I have a goal and I refuse to give up on it.
What else..
My friend Jilly is living with Russ and I now. Her baby is up in VA with his dad, because he refused to abide by their custody agreement and give Spencer back when scheduled. Now they are going to court in June and she is aiming for sole custody and have his parental rights stripped. He's one of those people with anger problems, delusions, and just a huge case of asshole-ness. blegh.
I'm kind of hyper right now. So bear with the short sentences and grammatical errors.
I'm writing again. In fact I've attempted to post some of the new story on my other Bloop site. I'm really looking forward to seeing now this new story plays out.
I really don't have much else to update. My life is pretty boring. work school work school. occasional fun. work school. So yup. that's the newest life update in 2011. lol
