Army Recruiter Calling (UGH!!)

Irritated...

I received a call earlier - didn't hear my phone since its on vibrate. It said restricted, but they left a voicemail.

It was an Army recruiter saying that my name came up from the college that I go to.

There's no way in fucking hell that I would have checked yes on anything regarding military or anyone else contacting me.

Why do I hate the Army so much?

My best friend was talked into going in when we graduated high school. She has mental health issues and wasn't supposed to be allowed to go in - the recruiter said "we won't tell anyone"

Then she gets kicked out because of the mental health issues, that they KNEW about before she went in.

There are NO records of her even being in the Army.

She didn't get the money she was told she would get for college, which is the main reason she went in the first place.

She gets no VA Medical Benefits...

No records of her there at all - they were destroyed after she was discharged.

Then, on top of all of this, the recruiters at the Army office while she was in the Army sent her a message saying that I went in there and started yelling and threatening them...

Yeah, I might now, but the shy intimidated person I was 10 years ago would never have even thought about doing that.

I don't like violence. I was in-between laughing and being irritated when my friend told me about what they had said.

I guess that one voicemail that I got just now brought up way too much anger regarding what happened 8-10 years ago.
