Strike
Bina tossed and turned all night. The thought that this baby could be Johnny's hadn't even crossed her mind. Of course it wouldn't matter, both men were amazing and would be there for her no matter what. She called and made an appointment with the doctor, Johnny said he wanted to go as well. Next week she would see Rob but she thought it might be a little bitter sweet. She groaned and rolled over, pulling the covers up to her head. Finally she slept, not great but better than nothing.

Two weeks had flown by, Robert had come back just long enough for the appointment then he had to rush off. Johnny and Thressa had come along too. She was happy for all the support since they were the only four people to know about the pregnancy. Bina was around two months along and scared to death.
The kids were having a sleep over at her parents for the night, it was just her at home. She played online, up dated some of her website, and watched a movie. It was only five o'clock and she was out of things to do. She knew she could call or visit Johnny and Thressa but she didn't feel like it at the moment. She curled up into bed alone and took a nap.
Around eight-thirty she woke up with some mild cramping, she remembered those from when she was pregnant with the other two children. It was never fun but it would be worth it. She ran a warm bath and soaked, hoping they would ease. After forty-five minutes they had become more intense.
"Oh" she bent over holding her stomach. She went to the bathroom and when she sat down she knew something wasn't right. The cramps got worse and there was some blood. "Shit" Quickly she dialed Thressa's number.
"BINA!"
"I need you."
"I'll be there right away."
When Thressa and Johnny got there Bina was still in the bathroom, the bleeding had become heavy. Thressa knocked on the door.
"Come in" Bina said weakly.
Thressa slowly opened the door, Bina was still sitting on the toilet with a towel over her lap.
"You ok?"
"I'm bleeding. A lot." she cried out.
"Ok, let's get you to the hospital."

She knew, even before the doctors did their test. There was nothing anyone could do, the baby was gone. Thressa had called Robert, he was on his way home right now but it wouldn't matter. Bina had failed him, she had lost the baby. Her body had rejected it and it was her fault. Johnny walked in slowly and looked at her with his deep brown eyes.
"I thought you'd be sleeping kid." Bina shook her head. "Rob will be here in a couple hours..."
The cream colored walls seemed to be closing in on her. She wanted to cry but the tears wouldn't come, she felt numb.
"You'll be home before Rob is... Thressa will be in here in a few to help you get dressed."

Bina woke up with Robert holding her. She didn't remember coming home, the doctor had given her pain medicine which made her sleep. The clock said it was only four in the morning, she groaned when she moved.
"Hey you" Rob said groggily. There was instantly a burning lump in her throat, she couldn't talk. "I love you." Bina shook her head and closed her eyes, Robert pulled her closer. "It's ok love."
"I'm sorry" she sobbed out.
"For what?"
"I lost our baby..."
"Look at me" Robert looked into her eyes. "You did nothing wrong, this isn't your fault. I'm sorry we lost the baby but I'm glad you're ok."
With that, Bina lost her last thread of strength and cried on Robert. He held her and stroked her hair until she fell back to sleep. Robert was told he could take as much time off as needed, even though no one knew what was going on. Rumors swirled around the fact he was having an affair with Kristen again, they were apparently eloping this weekend.
He didn't know what to do, of course he was sad about the baby but honestly, he was so thankful Bina hadn't been severally hurt. They would get through this, he knew they would but he couldn't just sit here while she sank into depression. And that she was blaming herself was more than he could handle. Robert picked up his phone and texted Thressa and Johnny.
"Hey, I know you have the kids for a couple more weeks but I was thinking that Bina's parents could keep Bry and Just for a week and we could go on a cruise or something. I think she needs to get away. And thank you both for being there for her when I couldn't."
