HAI GUYS!
Figured I should make at least one post on this thing, as a vague update to the probably 3 people who might read it. It's unlikely you'll get many updates from me... I can't even manage to tweet vaguely regularly so what chance do I have here when I can't even send a text once a day?
So, stuff is pretty cool atm... Debby and I now own a flat which still needs a little work (new kitchen and bathroom) but is still awesome anyway. It's not as far as I was from Mr Drinkwater's place, so maybe we'll actually meet up a little more often now! We're even on the same bus route, how funky.
I also just got promoted (well, about to be... I don't get officially posted til the 5th of January) so the extra cash there will be very much appreciated. I finally left my old directorate (where I'd been trying for promotion for over a year) and when I finally gave up and took a level transfer job I got promoted. What does that say about the old place then eh?
And finally, I'm still playing World of Warcraft. Targh (my orc shaman) is of course level 80, and my guild has now completed all current content in Wrath of the Lich King. Malygos killed on heroic on tuesday, so now we'll twiddle our thumbs and grind full sets of Tier 7 until the next content patch. We're doing really well, cementing our position in the top 5 guilds on my server, sort of joint first on Horde side at present. We were one of only a few thousand guilds in the world (there are hundreds of thousand guilds across the world) to actually complete The Burning Crusade by killing Kil'jaeden, so it's good we can continue with that progress.
As I'll be getting more money from the end of january I should hopefully be able to afford a trip to Anaheim towards the end of 2009 to go to Blizzcon with my belgian friend (and anyone else who can afford it). So here's hoping... |
