2013, Celebrations, And Fireworks!
OMG, OMG, IT'S 2013 ALREADY!!!

Haha, I was going to say something else completely different but I realised that TODAY was the FIRST DAY OF 2013!!!!! WOW!! How time flies... Wish I could catch it and tell it to slow down. So...Happy New Year, people!

So, last night, I don't mind saying that there was, as usual, a Happy New Year celebration at Marina Bay. The timing was crazy, yo! It was something like 6 PM (I think) to 3 AM!!! Gosh, who in their right minds would stay up all night just to watch that celebration?!? Apparently, a lot of Singaporeans would. Gosh, I'd probably fall asleep in the middle of it happening, yo! OMG! Guess what??!? Sorry, this is totally off-topic, but seriously! My ear felt ticklish (it does feel like that sometimes) so I used my finger to dig in it. But guess what I found! NO, not ear poop/wax - a dead ANT (I think my finger probably squashed it by accident)!!! Gosh, what in the world was an ant doing in there? Anyway! Back to the celebration thing. So I think at 12 AM there were supposed to have fireworks or something. By then, we (my mother, my brother, and I - my father's working night shift) were about to snuggle off to Dreamland when we heard like a really loud and deep rumble. It was like a storm cloud and someone's stomach rumbling mixed together. I was scared and became paranoid and started thinking that it was the end but my mom told me it was just the fireworks. NO, not from Marina Bay! Gosh, that it would've been a superbly mega-ginormous firework for us to hear it all the way from our house (we live a long way away from Marina Bay)! There's this big field in front of The Point and they're having a celebration there too (though, a small one)! So I bet they're having fireworks there too, yo! But I've never heard a firework make that kind of sound, though. Anyway! My mom made a frantic search for the remote and she turned on the TV the moment she found it. And ta-da! The fireworks were shown live at Channel 5! Whew, I guess it must've cost a pretty penny, those fireworks.

Well, I have to go and wrap and label my school books now, yo! Talk more in the next entry. See you later!

Have a fun day, everyone. ^u^
