Snowflakes Falling From The Sky

Snowflakes Falling From The Sky "Snowflakes fell from the sky,
Each was beautiful to the naked eye.

Each was different, never the same style,
And always ended up in a snow pile.

If it were possible, I'd catch one with a butterfly net.
And then I'd keep it as a cute little pet.

It won't get hungry, it won't make a mess,
I'd stare at it all day, even during a test.

Oh how I wish I had a snowflake,
But it would melt even at the coldest lake."

I badly wanted to make a poem again and then I saw this layout and got an idea for one. I hope it's a good one! I don't really think it's good, actually, LOL.

Really hoping that I'd get somebody's opinions on this poem.

That's cute =)

But just a tip- "each" is singular, so even though you're sort of talking about a lot of snowflakes, you're then specifying each individual one is ___, so you should say "each was," not "each were." =)

RYC 1: Er, yes, Wii has been out for a lot longer than Kinect, and the dancing games have existed since even prior to the Wii's existence. lol.

RYC 2: You're quite welcome. The only way to learn is to find out when mistakes are made, to know the right way for the future. =) It doesn't hurt that I'm a bit of a language nut, haha =P

I think it's a cute poem. I love the concept of keeping it as a pet while i was reading it I thought of the mini wheat little guy but a snowflake instead
