Hey everybody.
I've been having a most annoying problem that I've solved for now. CONNECTION PROBLEMS! Used to have lots of them in the past but not so much now ever since my father made a second network, jumardini 2. And he taught my brother how to fix it if it went wrong again. My brother's com-sorry, was interrupted by a problem with the display driver. That's a minor problem. It fixes itself in seconds. ^u^ Anyway! My brother's computer has the main source of the wifi network linked to it so he can fix it if it goes wrong. So just now, I had a connection problem. I was connected to jumardini 2 but it said "No Internet access". I told my brother about it. He said, "OK" but he was playing Command And Conquer again and you can't pause a match since it was online (I think) so I knew I would have to wait a while before he'd fix it. I read a book that he bought recently, "Diary Of A Taxi Driver". From professor to taxi driver! I checked my computer once more. I'd already troubleshooted it but it, of course, didn't work. It had given me instructions with the modem but I don't even know how it looks like. I went to my brother again and he said, "OK" again. I desperately wanted to go to my BloopJournal but as long as the connection was like this, how could I? I tried a different approach. I went to the kitchen counter, where my mom's phone charging itself. I checked the battery bar and unfortunately, it was only 55%. However, there was also a...errm...I don't know what it's called but I guess it's some kind of connection extender to make the range of the connection wider. So I figured if I turned on my mom's phone's personal hotspot, it could still reach my computer from the counter (I couldn't remove it 'cause it was charging). I turned on the hotspot, went back to my computer, disconnected from jumardini 2, connected to iPhone (the name of the hotspot), typed in the password, and waited. Guess what? Didn't work! It still said "No Internet access". It couldn't possibly be the hotspot so it was probably the computer. Frustrated, I restarted it. When it turned on, it immediately connected to jumardini 2. Once again, no connection. Only this time, it said "Limited access". By now, my brother had already fixed it but it still wasn't working. I searched for iPhone but it wasn't in the list of connections. I went back to the kitchen counter, turned off the hotspot and turned it back on again. When I went back to the computer, iPhone was there. I connected to it and FINALLY, I could get to BloopDiary! ^0^ The connection is only "Fair", though, since I couldn't get it nearer. But it's better than nothing. ^.^
Well, gonna go and download my latest updates of my diary now. :3 |
