A Winter Poem
WEDNESDAY
20th March 2013, 8.43 PM.

When The Winter Comes
When the winter comes,
The flowers will slowly disappear,
The winter rabbit's white coat re-appears,
And the falling snow will appear.

When the winter comes,
The children will build snowmen,
Throw snowballs,
Go sledging.

When the winter comes,
The beautiful snowflakes make their return,
With the children trying to catch them,
Laughing all the time.

When the winter comes,
Snowstorms rage,
Blizzards fling seas of snow down,
Creating disaster.

Oh, when the winter comes,
Good will come with it,
But so will disaster.

Oh, when the winter comes,
Good and bad will come with it.
But whether good or bad, it will always have beauty.

Remember my entry, Free Wifi? Well, the layout I used for that sort of inspired me to write this. Is it good? I tried to make it rhyme, but after the first verse, I gave it up and didn't make it rhyme. It was just too hard. It's amatuer-ish, right? LOL, of course it is. I just want to know if it's a nice poem or not.

EDIT: I showed it to my parents and my mom said that my poem shouldn't end on a negative note ("But so will disaster"). I did think about changing the end but I couldn't think of any other good ending. Neverthless, is it still a good poem? and so I did! Is it a good poem?

Hope you had a creative day, everyone.
