Comics And An Angry Greeting (Sorry About That!)

12/25/2012

TUESDAY
25th December 2012, 4.12 PM.

Comics And An Angry Greeting (Sorry About That!) GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!

Sorry for the very negative greeting, people. -.-" But I'm just having one of those moments when I get soooo DANG ANGRY AT MY FRENEMY!!!!! &*%*^#^^@% YARGH! It's mostly about the last time she lied to me and about the times she stared at me. Whenever, I think of her, I hate to admit it, but my mind goes "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-" but with no ending. Because I don't do bad words and that's exactly how I feel, anyways.

Well, I need to take my mind of her. So just now, I talked to my father about comics. But I still couldn't win him over. >.< Anyways, I just have 3 options:
1)Go to the nearby comic store and read the comics there daily (like a library except that you can't borrow the comics)
2)Find free comics online
3)Hope that the library has comics

Option 1 is definitely out since there aren't any nearby comic stores here. >.>

Do you mean comics or graphic novels? Chances are the library won't have comics (as in the ones that are released weekly) but will have graphic novels avaliable (longer length comics that are more like a complete story). They'll also have manga I imagine.

Libraries have the bound volumes of comics. They don't only come in the tiny trade editions; once a certain amount of those are out they're released in bound trade paperbacks, and for the really popular ones, then in deluxe hardbacks.

In my head I was including those in graphic novels, even though I know they're separate. Probably should have been more specific! Just wanted to differenciate between the single issue volumes & the lengthier, bound 'book' formats. But yes, once a collection is published there'd be no reason for the library not to have it, or be unable to get it.

You're making me feel more hopeful about the library.

I don't know. Either, I guess? But it would be better if there was a graphic novel that has an awesome plot, cool characters, and all that. ^u^

There are plenty. That's what I gave you the names of! lol

If you're willing to go the less-legal route, you can download most of them on the internet I imagine. Personally I don't do it, if it's not in the library I don't read it. But other people don't always share my scruples. heh.

Err, why is it "less legal"?

lol because if it were legal you'd be buying them.
