Hey people!
A lot of my friends are meeting up for Eye's birthday tomorrow. I'm not going. They're going to go ice-skating and we all have to pay the fee ourselves, as in $20, by the way. $20 is a bit too much, don't you think? Besides, I don't even know how to roller-blade.
I've been wanting to go to the library lately. I want to check ONE MORE TIME if Marvel superhero comics is honestly all they have and I also want to read this book called "The Ocean at the End of the Lane". I saw it in a shop at the airport the other day and saw it again as Best Fantasy in GoodReads so I made up my mind on reading it. It sounds like a good story, albeit not really for my age. Who cares about ages, anyway? It's a good story, just go and read it!
However, much as I wanted to go to the library, I hated to go anywhere outside alone (remember?). Far-Away Honey had just went to the library at Bishan so no point asking her to come over to my neighbourhood library. Honeybee apparently found all the books in the library boring now so it's a nope (even though she said that she could come with me but I didn't want to force her to come unwillingly to the library with me). Fortunately, my mom offered to take me there today and get my hair cut at the salon too! (SPOILER: I've never been to a salon before...)
God, I feel like such a baby, though. I'm perfectly capable of going to the library by myself but I'm too much of a chicken to do it. Actually, I'm not scared of going out alone. I just don't like it. It's much more fun when there's a friend or a family member with you, ja?
