Huh. It's been a really, really, really long time since I've been here. How did I even get here again? Right, I was forming another character for yet another role play, got bored, started replying to an e-mail from a friend who moved overseas, and somehow that lead me here.
It's strange rereading my old entries. It's like watching a storm build, one that never got a chance to recede here. First I was this innocent kid who abused the caps lock button, then I turned into an angsty teenager with no control over her new habit of swearing and then I abruptly stopped writing here when I felt that I probably should stop exposing so much of myself on the Internet. I certainly still feel like an angsty teenager sometimes but I suppose that's just what I am. Just another speck of nothing struggling through this game we call existence in the vast universe.
Hmm. I suppose I might as well share an update of my life since I'm here.
So, I've gotten over the whole Abric thing. Made some friends, grew a pair (sort of; still get the jitters when I'm meeting someone new or when I'm socialising online), and got rid of some of my sensitivity, amongst other things. I don't really have a problem with any of them anymore; they've gotten used to me as I have them. I've found a passion for interactive writing (namely, role plays). I do write my own pieces sometimes but they're rarely finished unless they're a schoolwork assignment.
Ah, speaking of school, this year's my most important one, exam-wise. Life-changing, you could say. It's currently the school holidays - plenty of time for me to catch up on my studies if I could just follow the schedule I've set for myself. With anime and cartoons, it's proving a challenge but I've got to do it. The entertainment can wait, the 'O' Levels won't.
Oh, right. New signature. Yeah, I changed it, but for the record, my name's not actually Stanley. Ha. Wait, did I already reveal my name in one of my old entries? Can't be bothered to plunge myself into 308 entries worth of angsty drama and cringeness to check so never mind.
I haven't really got much to say. If I sound subdued, that's because it's currently 1 AM in the morning (as stated above) and I should probably sleep since it's the fasting month again. I've got to wake up early tomorrow. Now that's a dream. I'll probably return to my e-mail or my character sheet I was writing before this. Maybe I'll return to write another entry. Who knows.
