SUNDAY
1st September 2013, 7.24 PM.

I was just randomly looking at *Amour De Bebe*'s diary and went to one of her entries, "101 things in 1001 days [second time 'round]". The list of goals really inspired me and I was wondering whether to start up my own goal list. However, I recognised this feeling.

There have been far too many times when I have been motivated and thought about doing beneficial things, but ended up not doing them. I've thought about putting up positive posters in my room but I never actually did that. Same old story with a goal list. Same old story to actually taking action to study hard (but I'm improving a bit on this one).

That's why whenever I think of making a goal list, I usually dismiss it because I keep thinking that I won't stick to it, I'd probably not even complete it. Once, I actually made a schedule with the help of my best friend, Honeybee, and I ended up crumpling and throwing it away half an hour later. All that time and effort gone. That's why I'm always afraid of making a goal list now. I'm afraid that I'll forget about it and go all, "Heck-care lah!". I'm also afraid of putting up motivational posters for fear of my parents criticising me or scolding me for 'dirtying' the walls. Not to mention that I'd probably lose interest in the middle of the making of the posters if I were to make any.

Besides, I only have a tiny little bit of fire enough just for studying. *Sighs* Sometimes, I do wish I had a goal list but I wouldn't know where to start, anyway. And probably, I wouldn't have enough motivation to actually do it.

Hope you had a motivational day, everyone.

Here's the site where the 101 in 1001 thing originated: http://dayzeroproject.com/. You can make a list there, and get ideas for goals. Lots of people make blogs about their progress on Blogger or Wordpress. It's worth doing, even though you may not finish or even want to finish - it focuses you on what you want and gives you a purpose. And if you join an online community where others are doing it too, you can motivate each other.
