Karate And A Weird Dream

12/30/2012

Karate And A Weird Dream Hey people!

So I remembered that I had a totally weird dream last night. A part of it was about frog! I dreamt that she wasn't actually an adult, that she was only 8 or 9 years old! XD *Facepalm* No offence, frog.

Another thing is, just now, I told my mom about how I wanted to learn karate. To my surprise, she seemed on board with my idea (that the correct way to say it?). Then she said that it was better than me sitting around at home doing nothing (LOL). She said that there was a karate school or something nearby. And my father didn't really agree but my mom persisted. I hope I do take karate! :3

Have a great day, everyone. ^u^

P.S. My entries are getting shorter. u_u

Haha - I'm often 8 or 9 years old in my own dreams too!

I took karate classes once, a few years ago, but gosh, it was mostly 8 and 9 years old in the class, and a few of their parents - I felt a bit like the odd one out! It's a good thing to learn though.

Gosh, seriously??!? Who in the world would want their kids to learn karate at age 8 or 9?!?!?

Haha - there were younger kids than that too. It's actually really good for kids to learn - it teaches posture and focus and concentration. It's not all about self-defence and fighting, but largely about bodily awareness and poise and focus and confidence. Skills that can be applied in other areas of the kids' lives, like school. The kids really loved it.

Yeah, I know, karate is a form of art, right? And it's not just about fighting, it's about..all that stuff that you said. I know that 'cause I read about karate in a Geronimo Stilton book.
