School, Jackets, And Books!
Hello people.

So! Tomorrow is the First Day of School! I can't wait! 'Cause of the other students from the other school that's gonna join us! Also, guess what?!? Our classroom is on the 8th floor (we can't use the lift, though. :T ) and it has the air-conditioner!!! HAHAHA!!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAA!! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA! OK, I should stop now before I go crazy, LOL. My friend (a classmate), whose nickname for this Journal is Pikachu (we all call her that LOL), called me just now. I told her about my amazing long-ago discovery (my handphone) and then she asked me if I was bringing a jacket tomorrow. That made me confused. Why would you want to bring a jacket to school??? Then, she told me that it was because of the air-conditioner. I did think that it would be an awesome reason to bring my jacket. Except that I couldn't find it in my closet. But I think my mom will let me bring my jacket to school. That's 'cause my brother (before he changed schools, he used to go to the same school as me)said that the air-con made him want to pee all day. That's pretty bad for me since I hate going to the school toilets (as I've mentioned before in "Today's Maths Workshop"). You know, I think I'll try to get my mom to take a picture of me wearing my school uniform, my bag, and my pouch tomorrow morning. Then maybe I'll upload it here. :3

Since school's starting, I'm not sure if I can write everyday from now on. But I will try to! :3 Anyways, I've finished Going Solo, the last Roald Dahl book in my Book Collection. So now, I'm reading The Island of Adventure from the Adventure Series by Enid Blyton. Yes. I read Enid Blyton. And I don't care that it's probably for kids a couple of years younger than me, I still enjoy the plot (and story) and that's what matters.

Hope you had an awesome day, everyone. ^u^

Hehe - when I was 11, I was totally still reading Enid Blyton. And when I was 12 too. The Adventure series is jolly good - I like Jack and his parrot! Gosh, I'd happily read the series again as an adult!

Wow, I can't believe adults read children's books but then again, why not indeed?

Oh, and gosh, yes, I just LOVE Kiki!! I wish I had a parrot like that that imitates everything, LOL!

Haha - I read children's books all the time. I have plenty of them on my Kindle and on my bookshelves, along with young adult books, and adult books. If you look on my GoodReads bookshelves, you'll see. When you're an adult, you still remember your childhood - like, your past is still part of who you are. You're not defined by the age you happen to be - you're also still all the ages you have been, because they are part of your memory. So you still have that child part of you that relates to children's books. Well, I do, anyway!

I've never read an Enid Blyton book (I never even heard of her until a couple years ago, she just isn't, or at least wasn't, maybe it's changed nowadays, really known in the US), but I own a whole bunch of picture books even. Partially because I want to have & share the books I love with the kids I plan to have in the future, but also because they're great books! That doesn't change no matter what age you are. A well-written book is always well-written. =)

Yeah, my father told me to keep my books safely for my future children (which I won't be having anytime soon ). And I agree with what you said.
