The Lack Of Television Obsession

2nd December 2013, 12.23 PM.

OH MY GOD!

Season 4 of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic is out!!!! Wooo!

Haha, I'm not a die-hard pony fan but I'm excited for it all the same. Even though I'm half a month too late to be excited. I'm pretty sure my TV doesn't have Hub channel so I depend on YouTube to watch episodes of MLP: FiM. Heck, I rely on YouTube to watch everything (almost). I generally don't watch the television at all, so if I'm bored, I search for videos on YouTube. I really should be getting back to my books.

My lack of TV obsession causes me to be left out of conversations the moment someone mentions something TV-related (often on Disney channel). Everyone would immediately be like, "HEY, I know that show!" and I would be like, "Meh" and keep quiet.

Speaking of Disney, Honestly, I think that the new stuff they air now are awful. However, I'm judging it based on one cartoon and several comments from YouTube so my judgement is totally unreliable. I mean, seriously, have you seen their show, Teen Titans Go!? It is horrifying! A disgrace to the original Teen Titans! Some agree, some don't. I can (sort of) understand why they gave the Teen Titans show a complete makeover. The original may have had a little too much action and adventure for kids, and since it was a kids show, they turned it into something more kid-friendly. Did they really have to remove meaning from it, though? At least there was some kind of moral in the original, some kind of message. To me, Teen Titans Go! seems like an endless drabble of the superheroes' antics with no meaning. It makes me want to break the TV screen.

Of course, this is just my opinion. If I were still a kid and watched the show, I would probably have deemed it as awesome, anyway. Now? I think the old cartoons were way better than the stuff they air these days. Not that I watch the television anymore.

Have an awesome day, everyone.

P.S. EDIT: I apologise for the mix-up! I meant Cartoon Network, not Disney! However, Disney's awful, anyway...
