Worries, Books, And A Snow Bear
Yo people!

I've finished reading Skin And Other Stories. Am now reading Danny the Champion of the World. Another of my favourites! Also, I'm currently drawing another picture, a Transformice one this time. But it's not finished yet. >(^.^)<

So...I was thinking just now. See, T.G thinks I'm a pro at English so she wants me to help her with that for PSLE. Well, I used to be really good at English. From Primary 1 till Primary 5 (this year), my grades for that subject dipped from A+ to B. Pretty bad, huh? Well, I was thinkin', how do I study for this subject? Reading is obviously not enough now. I suppose you could use assignment books for practise and you would get better. But T.G doesn't have any assignment books on English. She's asked her parents for some but they said they'd already bought her some and she'd probably lost it. Which is not true (according to her). So how do you study English, without assignment books? I did tell her to read books instead, but she doesn't have a wide variety of books and she can't go to the library 'cause her parents keep saying that "there's not enough time". She's really worried about PSLE. Me? It could give me a heart attack! Well, at least I have my books. :3 But another thing that worries me is MATHS, MATHS, MATHS!! Even though, I tried hard this year, I still failed my Maths. My father thinks I have potential, though, 'cause when I took my retest (for CA2...or is it SA2? I forgot LOL), I got 38/40. That's only 'cause I studied my failed Maths exam paper and extremely similar questions came up at the retest. But the main problem is my time management. Because when I tried so hard, I only (sometimes) manage to finish the paper by the skin of my teeth. I remember when the school separated the booklets in Paper 1(there's Booklet 1 and Booklet 2) instead of stapling them together. That particular exam took place on my birthday (WHY did I get born in the exam week?? LOL). I thought the second booklet was Paper 2 and I finished only Booklet 1!! And one question in Booklet 2. Why only one question? Because I was dumb and stupid enough to think that they gave us Paper 2 in advance!! Gosh, when I think back now, I realise how incredibly stupid thinking that was. *Facepalm*

So, I'm gonna go and finish up my drawing now. Anyway, for this entry's art, I'm gonna go and upload a photo of a snow bear (the name's Frosty Fur) that Deni made! Most unfortunately, though, Frosty Fur was killed by a hit-and-run with a truck! R.I.P, Frosty Fur.

Have a cool, worry-free day, everyone. ^u^

lol that's an awesome snow...bear. haha.

Reading and watching TV/movies in English are the best ways to learn it. Writing (or speaking, if possible) with native/fluent speakers is also a good thing to do, like you do on here.

Alright, thanks! I'll tell T.G and see if it works for her. She'll probably have some complications with the first two, though. Do you think I should ask her to start a BloopDiary?

If you, and she, want to, I suppose you could do that. I don't know if I want to actively encourage breaking of rules though, lol.

That was why I asked you, 'cause I don't really think I should encourage my friends to start a BloopDiary ('cause of the age limit). Hani B did start one, though, when she heard about this website.
