ZOOM! Hong Kong!TUESDAY
5th November 2013, 12.58 PM.
Hey, everyone! I'm fasting, so some of my enthusiasm (for everything) may have drained a little. No, actually, it has, but anyway!
Guess what? That's right, I'm going to Hong Kong! I've watched ZOOM! Hong Kong! on Suria (have you?) but this time we're actually going there!! When? On the day after school ends! Wheeee! 8 days of kickin' back and relaxin'! First River Safari (with the class), then Entrepreneurship Day (done by the Primary 5s) and then 6 days at Hong Kong (with my family)!
Oh, and in case you're thinking, we're not going to Disneyland over there. Why? Well, for starters, it's going to be hard finding halal restaurants or making sure that any food product we buy from the supermarkets are halal. Ha, well, the last time we went to foreign countries, there was a tour guide but this time, we're completely on our own. From what I've heard, though, there's a place called Bismillah Kebab (LOL) at HK. I don't know where it's located, though. Another problem is that we need a place to pray at. So my parents decided that maybe we should just not go to Disneyland as it would supposed make things easier and it's for kids, anyway.
Ironically, Disneyland has pork-free food and a city hall for prayers to accommodate its Indonesian guests but Ocean Park (another theme park in Hong Kong) doesn't have either of the two. So...yeah, it's really ironic.
However...I DO NOT CARE! We're going to Hong Kong, I mean, really! I can't wait to go to Ocean Park, the Peak, and see the place, and...and...and...
Despite my excitement, though, I'm half-wishing that we were going to Langkawi (in Malaysia) instead because the other day, I was watching videos of us going to Langkawi with my aunty and grandmother when I was a little kid (maybe about 5 or 6) and it was freakin' AWESOME. We went on a long trek and there was a waterfall (NOT man-made) and there were elephants (to ride on!)...and BUNNIES!!!! A whole lot of rabbits! Guess what, though? Back then, when lots of rabbits were crowding around us, wanting to be friends...
I WAS AFRAID OF THEM.
How could I have been so afraid of them?!?!?!?! Such a wasted opportunity!!! I really want to go there again!
Experience the outdoors!
Ugh, how could I have been so afraid of the bunnies...*mumbles incoherently to self*
Have an awesome day, everyone!
