my sister died on the 16th dec n we cremated her on the 30th, were burying her ashes on monday 1st march which would have been her birthday, what it is was that when my wee one was born she was over the moon at finally becoming a auntie she had waited years for one of us to have a wean and now shes not here to recieve her 1st birthday card that says auntie she would have loved it as she doted on my wee one, anyway do use think it would be a good idea to get her one or is that just strange if am making sense

You could make her a card telling her how much her Auntie wishes that she could be there, how much she loves her, and how proud she is of her. In fact, for every birthday you could make a card saying that her Auntie is watching her on her big day and is so proud and loves her so much. Later in life it will mean a lot to your daughter, and it would touch your sister to know that her niece knows that she's watching out for her, even if she's not there in body.
I'm sorry that she died. I don't know what I would do if I lost my sister.

I don't think the idea is strange at all.
