Hearing Scheduled for Miley Cyrus' Alleged Stalker

A preliminary hearing has been set for Marc McLeod, the man that was charged with attempting to stalk teen sensation Miley Cyrus.

McLeod is scheduled to appear in court Tuesday afternoon on Tybee Island, the Associated Press reports.

The 53-year-old was charged with attempted stalking along with disorderly conduct and obstruction of a police officer, and is currently being held at the Chatham County Jail, the AP says.

According to Police, McLeod traveled to Tybee Island on the Georgia coast to look for the "Hannah Montana" star who was there filming the movie 'The Last Song,' and that he told an officer he was secretly engaged to marry the 16-year-old actress.
