they did what?! Celeb News & Gossip
The celebrating isn't over yet for newlyweds Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner, who tied the knot on Sunday. A post-wedding reception hosted by the groom's parents – Seryl and Charles Kushner, a New Jersey real-estate developer – was held Wednesday night at the historic Puck Building in New York City.
"It was really beautiful in there," the bride's brother, Eric Trump, 25, told PEOPLE as he was leaving the party. "[They are a] very beautiful couple."
Guests referred to the party as Sheva Brachot, which is a special Jewish wedding blessing usually accompanied by a meal – in this case, a variety of kosher food, as well as hamburgers, hotdogs, steak sandwiches, sushi and salad.
The dessert buffet featured an array of candy, chocolate cakes, raspberry sorbet on sticks and brownies. "They had some incredible food," one guest said. "It was all very well done."
Elegant Dress
The bride, 27, was dressed elegantly in a champagne-colored, floor-length, sleeved gown, with her pulled back into a bun. "She looked beautiful, she was stunning," the guest added.
And what's a celebration without music? Guests danced the night away to "In My Life" by the Beatles, the Horah and other traditional Jewish folk music. In July of 2009, the bride converted to Judaism, the religion of her husband, 28.
Although Wednesday's party consisted mostly of friends of the Kushner family, both of Trump's parents, Donald and Ivana Trump, attended with other members of the family. Mother of the bride Ivana told PEOPLE, "It was fabulous and very elegant. A beautiful event for the young couple."
"It was a really wonderful warm feeling In the Kushner family," added a guest. "A lot of love. They seem very happy."
