John Travolta & Kelly Preston: How They're Coping Now

02/17/2009

they did what?! Celeb News & Gossip
More than six weeks after the Jan. 2 death of Jett Travolta, his heartbroken parents are still struggling to cope with their loss.

John Travolta, 55, and Kelly Preston, 46, along with their daughter Ella Bleu, 8, are "regrouping and pushing through the grieving process," a source tells PEOPLE in its new issue. "They are trying to grieve and return to some sort of normalcy for Ella.

"But life isn't normal without Jett."

The Travoltas have been lying low at their Ocala, Fla., home since the devastating death of their only son at age 16. Adding to their pain is the ongoing criminal case in the Bahamas, where prosecutors allege that a politician and a paramedic tried to extort $25 million from the Travoltas after Jett died while vacationing with his family there.

"They were so hurt by the moochers," says the source. "But things have calmed down. Every day it gets better."

Oh my God. How could someone be so freaking worried about stealing his MONEY when his 16-year-old child had just died? Idiots deserve to be robbed of all of THEIR money.

They'll find that the normal they once knew will not be the normal they return to. After losing a child, normal takes on a completely different view.

I feel so bad for them.

just because they're angry at someone trying to take advantage of their grief? how could you say such a rude, ignorant thing? of course they're heartbroken - and if you've ever lost someone, you'd know they're ANGRY too.

maybe they're just showing this ange towards that uncaring cruel man trying to smooze people out of money. what an awful statement.
