they did what?! Celeb News & Gossip  Miley Cyrus wants people to stop dissing on her relationship with her dad.
In her upcoming memoir Miles to Go (out next month), she says she is annoyed at those who think she and father, country crooner Billy Ray Cyrus, are "too close or too cuddly."
She says she finds nothing "weird" about their relationship and believes some people are simply "full of anger, hatred and bitterness," she writes, according to an excerpt obtained by The Associated Press.
Billy Ray previously told Usmagazine.com he is proud of his daughter, 16, and can't help but show her affection every now and then.
"She loves what she's doing. She has a real passion for making music as an artist," he told Us. "She loves being an actress, and we all feel very fortunate being in the Disney family and getting to do both of our loves."
He also doesn't mind that his daughter -- who recently apologized to the Asian community for mocking them in a photo -- is dating 20-year-old model Justin Gaston.
"He actually reminds me a lot of myself when I was 20-years old, and I was living and searching for the dream," Billy Ray told Access Hollywood. "He's got a great heart and soul, and a lot of determination. I think that's the true measure of a man, is when you measure his heart."
