Report: Michael Jackson's Kids Not His?

A central question regarding Michael Jackson's final affairs is the matter of what will happen to his three children, Michael Jackson, Jr. (also known as Prince Michael I), Paris Katherine Michael Jackson and Prince Michael II (often called Blanket). And now there are two more twists in this already sad story: TMZ reports that not only is Michael Jackson not the biological father of any of his kids, he also never formally adopted them.

The report indicates that Michael and then-wife Debbie Rowe used a surrogate and donor sperm to conceive Michael Jr. and Paris, and that Michael used a surrogate who never knew she was carrying a child for him when she had Prince Michael II.

Muddying the custody issue even more is the report that MJ never filed legal papers to adopt his children, apparently because at the time there was no third party who would be interested in taking custody.

TMZ cites legal experts who say Michael would be presumed the father but it's not a sure thing.

Right now MJ's mother Katherine Jackson has custody of all three children, and hopefully for their sake, a resolution will be reached soon.

well i don't mean this in a bad way, but i'm not really shocked to find out the kids weren't his by blood. they're white and he was born black.

this is all still so sad though . i feel horrible for those kids.

Going to continue the trend of "eh, it isn't THAT surprising they aren't his blood children". Still, the problems with papers and such...yikes. I feel bad for the kids too.

I think they look ridiculously like Madonna's two non-adopted kids. Which would be a news story all of its own!

ryan and mindy, black people can have kids that arent black. my sister looks as white as most people do, but shes the product of two black parents.

i'm not knocking anyone here that said anything..

but the man is gone, i just wish that ppl would leave him be. His life was his life, even with him NOT being alive, he is still having people talking about either his children, would he did in the past. anything. let him rest in peace.

it is possible that they are his, cos there are kids that are from one black and one white parent that can be white.

the thing about this story is-if they used a sperm donor , he wouldn't NEED to adopt them.

If a married couple uses a donor to conceive, the husband would not adopt the child after he or she was born. He would already be the parent, regardless of the fact it wasn't his sperm.
