I don't really have much to write about, since not much has happened in the past couple days.
My mom and I did some post Christmas shopping yesterday, she promised me a pair of jeans. I HATE jeans. I feel like they never look good on me, they trap fat that I don't want trapped, and they are down right uncomfortable! Well, I got THREE pairs! I think that is the most pairs I have bought at one time and they are all SO flattering!! I even for a pair of skinny legged jeans. It was somewhat liberating that a pair of jeans that look great on girls who are 5'2" and 100 lbs look great on me who is 5'6" and well more than 100lbs. They are going to look great with a cute sweater and ballet flats! They are something I've wanted for awhile but didn't think I could pull off. But I'm rockin' the skinny jeans now!!
I also got a couple of sweaters and other shirts at the mall. What I got yesterday, combined with my Christmas presents, I am basically taking a new wardrobe back to DC (and how I am going to get it all back in still questionable.) I have lots of new things to wear to work and out with friends. I think new clothes are always a good start to a new year, it will make me feel good to get rid of my frumpy things and replace them with cute, new clothes! I am going to need more closet space : )
I got an email today from my creepy landlord. He offered to pick me up from the airport on Tuesday, but luckily he is going to be at work when my flight gets in. He took me to the airport on Christmas Eve, and I let him because my flight was at 6am and I didn't trust a cab. He was still drunk, drove like a madman, and forced a hug when we got out of the car. CREEPER!
Well, I am going out to lunch with one of my best friends from high school in about 10 minutes. It is so great to see all of my friends from home. I miss them so much since I moved away. Luckily our friendships are strong enough to keep in touch and be friends even though we live 1000 miles away.
I'm going to go flaunt my skinny jeans! Happy Sunday to all!
