Today, I was listening to the radio, I heard about 3 teens who died in an accident. The accident or should I say mistake was that they tried going through some water that was washing over the road, they hit it in such a way they hydroplaned into a creek bed on the opposite side of the road. Before anything could be done to save them, water had already flown into the car and all of them drowned. Why do people have to be so ignorant of road conditions, I see at least 30 crosses on the side of the road everyday. I know 15 of them by heart and it kills me to hear about some other teens having to endure the pain of a lost friend, brother, sister, cousin. Ive been there and its not something that you ever forget about, its something that sticks with you forever. If you love your friends, your family, do yourself and them the greatest favor, Drive safe and make the right call. So much for a graduation for them. Instead their friends get to sit there with them at a graveside funeral. The only paper that the family gets to endure is a death certificate, no diploma. Teens, make the right choice, drive safe, don't speed, think, I dont want to hear of more teens dieing. Be safe out there, wherever you are. I may not know you by heart or in person, but every life is worth something, dont waste it. |
