I would appreciate any input to this question. Before I ask the question though, I'm going to back it up with some information.
A few years ago, I bought a Vivitar Vivicam 5386 digital camera. It isn't anything fancy but it got the job done. Sometime this year, it stopped working on me and nothing I have done has worked to get it start functioning correctly. I like the simplicity and versatility of this camera....plus, it was a cheaper camera (and the tightwad in me likes that).
Before that camera, I owned a Canon (35-mm) Sureshot 80 Tele camera. It stopped working on me before I bought my Vivitar. I'm certain that the issue there is an internal issue.
I still own both of those cameras and will either sale them for as bodies (for replacement parts for someone) in the future OR get them replaced. My question does not regard the fact that they don't function correctly.
My question is: Within the $100-200 price range, what is the best camera around that is relatively simple to operate but takes great pictures?
Brands/models don't concern me. I'm in the market for another camera though and would like a decent one to use.
If you can't answer this question, don't worry about it. I just thought I'd ask.--Robyn |
