I'm going to drop kick my boss' Dauchhound (aka...wiener dog) against a concrete wall (with steel toed boots) if he doesn't stop being so obstinate and loud!!
How's that for an opening sentence? Huh? Haha. And, sadly, I meant every word of it even though I wouldn't physically do it in real life. I'm sitting here typing an entry while I'm waiting for a houseful of tile floors to dry. I just finished mopping. Then, I have to take the laundry out of the dryer (it should be done by then) so I can make Joyce's bed. Joyce is the lady whose house I clean. I will officially be done with my job for the day after those chores. Then, I'm going to go see another of my bosses. Last night at work, she invited me over for a home cooked meal since she would otherwise be eating alone. I get along with Jamie. We are a lot alike...although she is shorter than me. Haha. I guess her husband is working tonight and she didn't want to eat alone.
I found out last night, by accident, that I was friends with Jamie's husband's cousin (confused yet?) in high school. How ironic is that? Sometimes this big world is reduced to the size of a needle's eye and that was such an occasion.
Really? Can I dropkick Dinky (the dog)??? I'm doing my best to ignore him but my patience level is rapidly disintegrating. Haha.
So, I bet everyone on here is waiting with bated breath to hear about what I have been up to. Haha. You all can release that breath now. Your faces are turning blue and that is never a good sign.
I have been......working. See, all of you waited to hear very boring news. Haha. Just kidding. I seriously have been working most of the time however. I have closed at work (BK) several times this past week. I have been putting off my housekeeping job due to being exhausted from closing at BK. I did get here today...even if I did sleep in later than I planned. Last night, I closed at BK. I got home around 1:15am then couldn't sleep until nearly 6am. Needless to day, when I woke up, it was MUCH later than I thought it was. Haha. I didn't use my alarm clock last night due to the power going out early this morning. We had severe weather in the area. Today we have freezing rain (aka: sleet OR ice) falling outside. Have I mentioned that I HATE winter time. I am very much a summer kind of girl...heat or not. Haha.
This entry sounds very negative but I'm not in a bad mood. I'm just talking about the wrong things...things I can't put a positive spin on very easily. Haha.
I got to talk to my old youth pastor about a week ago. I surprised him when I called him, hehe. Lance is a cool guy, even if he did unmercifully tease me. I got him back by refusing (in an ornery manner) to shake his hand after church services though.  He was the pastor at that time. He now lives in OK and preaches at a church there. I miss hearing him preach.
I have tried to call Melissa several times but she must be screening her calls. She never answers the phone. Tsk, tsk...Melissa. Just kidding. I know you are a busy person/mom.
This is the month for weddings, birthdays, and births. Here is a calendar of each occasion:
Dec. 6: Jamie and Nathan V. marry
Dec. 11: Amanda's birthday
Dec. 13: Julia-droolia's birthday (my cousin, hehe...it's an outdated name for her now)
Dec. 14-15: Faith and Erik's due date
Dec. 16: Josh's birthday (the butthead...I'm worried about him)
Dec. 17: Malachi's birthday
Dec. 25: Crystal's birthday
Dec. 25: Christmas, obviously
And that is not including Jonny K.'s wedding (date???) or Matthew B.'s wedding (date???). I told you it is busy.
So, what is all of your plans for Christmas? I don't have any concrete ones yet. I need to ask off of work for then.
