It is as if Zeus and the other gods were wagering who got to teach us mere humans a lesson. They seem to think that our man-made fireworks are paltry compared to their thunder and lightening...aka "superior" fireworks.
Well, let me tell you something, Zeus (and any of your other comrades)...the gauntlet has been thrown down now!
You doused my own private fireworks show due to your pride and "superiority". Who do you think you are throwing down your lightening rods in the middle of it? Do you think you are some kind of god or something? Oh no you didn't! I will pay you back for this injustice threefold! I'll sick Yahweh on you. He is God and way more powerful than you were or ever will be.
Haha, I couldn't resist. I was enjoying fireworks that my neighbors are shooting off...alone-- when atmospheric fireworks started going off. Darn rain.

Okay, I'm back.
So, I obviously didn't have to work tonight. To celebrate that fact, I didn't sleep last night and tried to hold a yard sale today. I was hoping since it was holiday weekend that people would actually show up. No such luck. I have to pay rent people! Cooperate with me! Haha.
I ended up semi-napping while waiting on people to show up. I was holding an "inside" yard sale. It rained intermitantly (sp?) all afternoon so that was a good thing. Kirra and Adrian showed up briefly but they didn't stay long. I understood at the time. I WAS half asleep at the time anyway. haha.
My Aunt Alicia just popped online (yahoo IM). I haven't talked to her since she went to jail...if not longer. She got out recently, by the way. I'm still not sure how to take that news (for her as well as her kids). I'm also not sure what to say to her. That is a long story that I am not getting into. Please pray for the situation though, if you would. God knows the situation better than anyone else.
