For those who do not know already, this is what my life's schedule has been like recently.
Monday-Saturday: Work the night before, Pack/Deep clean my duplex, Get some sleep before work, Go to work...and the pattern repeats itself
Sunday: Work the night before, Get up incredibly early, Do whatever else needs to be done that day
(I'm doing all of this by myself...on and off. That is the reason it is taking me so long to finish.)
Doesn't that sound exciting to all of you? Haha. Why am I packing everything I own, you ask? Well, I guess I will tell you. I am moving as of tomorrow (before work). Most of my stuff is going into storage temporarily. The rest of it is going to a friend, Kassey's, house. I'm staying with her until I can find a place OR until God's Resort gets back to me. They REALLY need to do that! I've been trying for a month now to get a call back. Part of that time, the lady in charge was on vacation. I didn't know that until later though.
So far, I have my cousin coming over on Friday to help me run my things to the storage facility. I hope to find people to help me earlier that day. I will have to be up EARLY anyway. I will probably be packing/cleaning Thursday night while I wait for my grandparents to drop in momentarily on Friday morning. They are dropping off a car for me that morning while they are only their way to OK to pick up my aunt. My Aunt Laura Kay cannot drive for medical reasons. She is slowly going blind and has heart problems. That sounds like fun, huh?
And yes, you read that right. I will have a car. I paid 6 months of insurance on it already. My rent for July is finally caught up. I would find a place to move into faster (rather than Kassey's place) but I'm officially poor right now. At least I can save up my money easier by staying there. I plan on paying the back rent I owe my landlords through payments. It is a considerable amount due to me being out of work 6 months total last year. I have incredibly wonderful landlords right now!
Kassey, in case you are reading this, I will stay only as long as necessary at your house. I don't want to be an imposition. I also plan on helping out as much as possible while there. Don't argue with me regarding that either. It was one of my conditions regarding accepting your offer. Haha. I'm just glad I'll have a car since I have to get to work and you live clear across town from my workplace. Haha. I'll still probably ride the trolley sometimes to save gas. At least the Lord provided for me since the trolley doesn't run when I usually get off of work. Normal people aren't awake at that time in the morning/night. Haha.
Two things I really need to do still is find a home for my cats. Sut is pregnant and both of the cats have fleas (as of a few weeks ago). Why they chose their exact timing regarding both conditions is beyond me. I did not appreciate it, that's for sure. Haha. I'm going to see if my neighbor who has a dog grooming/boarding/rescue business will board them for me until I can find them a home. I used to do housekeeping for her. I will understand if she doesn't want the hassle though. I plan on letting her know that I have every intention of paying for food and such if she agrees to board them.
I'm hoping the lady who is buying my bed will come sometime today (before I work) to pick it up/pay for it. Otherwise, she will come Friday and that day is already packed with activity.
Tomorrow, I plan on doing my last load of laundry so all my clothes are clean. Then, I'm going to pack what is left to pack. I also plan on deep cleaning my place from top to bottom. I also have to bomb the house (once everything is out of it) for fleas (grrr...), return my housekeys to my landlords' brother. This is all before working until late tomorrow (5pm-3am). It is going to be one long day. I hope to fit in a nap sometime then.
Today, after work (4-11pm), I plan on packing most of what is left to pack then start the deep cleaning process (one room at a time). I hope to have the cats gone and boarded by that time so they aren't in the way. I need to get more boxes at work today so I can do more packing. I kind of ran out earlier. That is why I'm sitting at my computer right now. Haha.
Did I mention how much I despise moving/packing??? I wouldn't be doing this if it weren't necessary. Haha. I seriously love where I live right now, but I just cannot afford it.
Once I get settled in at Kassey's house, I plan on start looking for another job. Perhaps, a better job so that I can cut out the BK job. Haha. Right now, I need extra income though. That is part of the problem, actually.
I worked a compromise with one of my managers regarding Saturday night. I was scheduled for 6pm-3am. I asked her if I could come in around 9-10pm though and work until close. I am going to have a fun day on Saturday. I deserve it after all this moving and working so much. Haha. Yesterday (Wednesday) has been my only day off since last Sunday. I work this Sunday night due to me covering for one of my coworkers. He has something going on. That is why I was able to compromise with my manager regarding this Saturday's hours. I know how to use things to my advantage when I have to. Haha.
