I also was able to video chat with my former mime coach yesterday and that was great. I was able to check up on her husband, who is in the hospital recovering from COVID. He is my former jr high math teacher. I passed along a funny message to him through her. I feel like he needs a chance to smile and/ or laugh. If it means that he laughs at me, I am okay with that. Laughter is the best medicine, in my opinion.
I have to go back to work tomorrow. I am not looking forward to the heat, unpleasant people, and waking up at the crack of dawn. Me and mornings do not get along. Enough said. I do enjoy my job, overall, just to clarify. No place is perfect. I recently got a raise too. That was a pleasant surprise.
I decided to pull my old couch out to the curb tonight by myself. It is not heavy, just bulky. It has set on my porch for 2-3 weeks and had to go. A neighbor of mine showed interest but has not been showing initiative to pick it up. I had enough of the waiting game. Lo and behold, another resident of that house took initiative and put it on their porch tonight.
Also, I am supposed to get my yard mowed by him tomorrow. That is a blessing. I gave him gas money for the mower. I was going get that done tonight but I fell asleep waiting for someone to pick up something else. I was also waiting on it to cool off some to start mowing. I woke up just before dusk...haha. Oops!
Well, I am out of here for now. Talk to you later. --Your friendly neighborhood couch puller
