Really Bad Weekend | 05/23/2011 |
 So, I don't post much here anymore. Most people I know already know about this.
My sister went into the hospital Friday. She was bleeding from her uterus. She had an infection, and her body couldn't heal itself with the twins on board. So, the body rejected the pregnancy.
She was induced, the babies were born alive, and died shortly after delivery. For those who feel it important to know, they were baptized and had names before they passed.
The placenta did not drop, so a large part of Saturday she spent in surgery. She returned home Sunday.
She seemed serene when I last saw her, so I don't know how she actually feels.
I feel like shit.
And now it's Monday morning, and I'm at work.
Life continues... for some.
