 Well, we all know the Cylons really didn't have a plan. The producers just used that line to push the story along. 4 great seasons and 30 minutes at the end kind of spoiled it.
However, BSG is not why I'm here today. Early in the year, I had come up with a goal that I wanted to hit. Not a pressing "resolution" just a goal - an ideal place to see myself that I can put steps in front of me to attain.
I still have the goal. Getting steps in place to achieve it have been problematic. I need to teach myself what I need to do to get there. This is really weird. I don't consider myself to be stupid... but I also don't consider myself to be terribly bright either. Perhaps "better than average" but that's about it. So, some stuff is not apparent, and I don't know where to move with it.
I'm still going to move with it. Other things are also preventing some steps (bills... for instance). The issue is one of research. I know I have research to do. I can even put a definite name to it. That should make it easier right? Well, no, but I've also heard that putting a face to your enemy makes dealing with them easier. If your enemy is a 600lb spider, seeing his eight faceted eyes will make it easier to choose to run away... very quickly, as example.
The problem is, while I know the name of the process, I don't know how to go about it.
Frustrating.
Pushing forward, though. Other projects to keep me occupied until I figure out this one.
