hi everybody... so I haven't really gotten a chance to properly introduce myself, I should have to begin with. So here it goes. My name is Shilla Rodrigues. Shilla is a nick name my father gave me when I was little so it stuck on and now everybody calls me that. my real name is Aaliyah Marie Rodrigues and im 17 years old. I was born and raised in Portugal in the islands of the acores {pronounced AZORES}. I moved to America when I was about 12, at first I stayed in California and had an amazing time there. After about 4 years I turned 16 and moved to Rhode Island. don't get me wrong I love America but I do in fact miss Portugal terribly. but coming here is a great experience. I grew up on the music and good vibes that people have brought around me. the reason I call myself trippy hippie is because the 60s and 70s had a big part of my life. I grew up listening to Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, etc. but don't get me wrong im also into grunge and a lot of vintage music and materials. my favorite band is NIRVANA mainly because Kurt Cobain is my hero I love him. SUBLIME is an all time favorite because just the music and lyrics have a positive vibe and it makes life better. music is my life always has been. but I am also a writer. I know this website is called bloop diary so I love to write my stories on here because I feel like everybody should have a chance to express themselves any way they want to. I came here because I found that I can write my poems and the stories ive been working on and share them with people. I am hoping that everybody gets a chance to read the poems and stories on here mainly because after high school im flying back to California so I can go to San Fran university to become an author and publish my books out into the world. but until then this will help me get all my feeling out.
